As Curaçao opens back up, we are continuing to see the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 increase across the island. While the CMC has experienced a number of patients with COVID-19, we are well equipped to handle COVID-19 positive patients and are continuing to take every precaution to keep our team members, physicians, patients, and the community safe during this global pandemic.
Our team is properly trained and has an adequate supply of equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment such as N95 masks. Additionally, the CMC has 10 negative pressure rooms, over 20 ventilators, and is working closely with VMS in the Netherlands and the AMI team. Team members are also screened and required to wear masks prior to entering CMC facilities.
