Yme Weijers - Urologist
Yme Weijers specialized as an all-round urologist in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, with specific focus on bladder and kidney cancer. Research and treatment of BPH/LUTS and stone disease are fully treated by Weijers and the Urology department. He speaks Papiamento, Dutch and English. He started working at a urologist at SEHOS in 2016 and later transitioned to Curaçao Medical Center in 2019.
Daniel Rojas Castillo - Urologist
Daniel Rojas, MD is a urologist with more than 15 years of experience with special interest in oncological urology. He graduated from Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá in 2004 as a urologist and has a master’s degree in Oncological Urology from the University of Barcelona in 2020.
Dr. Nataly González - Urologist
Dr. Nataly González is an urologist at Curaçao Medical Center (CMC). She completed her urology residency at Fundación Universitaria Sanitas in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2019, and earned her Medical Degree from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada in Bogotá in 2010. Dr. González has specialized training in reconstructive and functional urology.
She joined CMC in 2025 and focuses on urination disorders in men and women, urethral disorders, lower urinary tract conditions, and other functional urological issues.

Dr. Laura Avilleira Garcia - Urologist
Dr. Laura Avilleira García is a urologist at Curaçao Medical Center, where she has been part of the team since 2025. She provides comprehensive urological care and has experience in urological emergencies, minimally invasive surgery, endourology, prostate conditions, bladder disorders, and pediatric urology.
Dr. Avilleira García studied medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed her urology specialization at Hospital General de Segovia in Spain. During her specialization, she gained experience in areas such as pediatric surgery, kidney transplantation, andrology, female urology, and advanced urological procedures.
She continued to develop her expertise through clinical experience at several hospitals in Spain, including Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, ROC Clinic, and Hospital Universitario de Fuenlabrada. Her surgical experience includes laparoscopic and robot-assisted urological procedures, ureteroscopy, flexible ureteroscopy, minimally invasive kidney stone surgery, prostate surgery, and bladder surgery.
In addition, she completed further training in laparoscopic urological surgery, robot-assisted surgery, endourological procedures, laser treatments for prostate conditions, and other advanced urological techniques. She has presented research at national urology congresses and contributed to publications related to urological conditions and surgical techniques.
