Overview
Vaginal discharge should be liquid, transparent or white.
If the vaginal discharge is accompanied by other complaints such as an unusual smell, itching, redness and pain, there may be a vaginal infection. The vaginal discharge is therefore often friable. The color can also be different: greenish-yellow or snow-white. It can also be a bit bloody and a bit brown.
Examination
The gynecologist does a gynecological examination and takes cultures.
Treatments
