WILLEMSTAD, September 9th, 2024 – Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) is thrilled to announce the placement of a piano in the hospital’s atrium to create a positive atmosphere. The piano is a donation from anonymous Angel donors. This initiative is designed to foster a healing and positive environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Research shows that music has significant therapeutic benefits, contributing to overall well-being. To inaugurate the new piano, Randal Corsen graciously gifted CMC with a special performance for patients and colleagues on Monday.
The piano is available for use by those with piano experience, and guidelines have been established to ensure it is used respectfully and appropriately. All players are encouraged to create a peaceful ambiance that enhances the hospital experience for everyone.
