Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) Demonstrates Commitment to Collaboration with Health Inspector

Willemstad, July 6th, 2023 – Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) wishes to address recent developments regarding instructions (aanwijzingen) issued by the Health Inspector, Prof. Dr. Sirving Keli.

While CMC may not fully agree with the justifications presented in the instructions, the hospital’s Board of Directors has decided not to pursue legal action and instead prioritize open communication and

cooperation. In line with this commitment, CMC will engage in regular weekly meetings with the Health Inspector to ensure the provision of all necessary information promptly. The goal is to address the concerns raised in the instructions and have them removed as swiftly as possible.

CMC acknowledges the vital role of the Health Inspectorate in upholding healthcare standards and ensuring the well-being of patients.
