WILLEMSTAD, July 4, 2024 – Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) experienced a minor technical problem with one of its CT scanners during a routine testing phase earlier today, which resulted in a small amount of smoke being released. Only a few patients had to be rescheduled to this afternoon. Meanwhile, CMC has two additional CTs to maintain continuity.
CMC’s dedicated technical team is already working diligently to resolve the problem and ensure the CT scanner is back to full operational status as soon as possible. CMC is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and care for its patients.
