Willemstad, Augusst 27, 2025 11:15 AM – Due to the island-wide power outage, Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) is currently operating on generators to safeguard the continuity of essential and emergency services. Please note the following updates:
- Outpatient Clinics: All clinics will close after 12:00 PM today. Afternoon appointments will be rescheduled.
- Emergency Department: Remains fully open for urgent and emergency medical care.
- Nursing Departments: Services continue as usual. Cooling is being alternated between some departments, which may cause slight temperature fluctuations. We are monitoring closely to ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Surgery: All scheduled surgeries will proceed unless patients are contacted directly.
