Willemstad, October 9, 2025 – Yesterday, Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) successfully conducted a comprehensive fire drill exercise to test the response times, coordination and safety procedures in the event of a fire emergency. This drill was carried out in close collaboration with CMC Vastgoed, the internal security team and the Fire department.
The exercise simulated a real-life emergency scenario to evaluate preparedness and ensure that all teams can respond swiftly and effectively under pressure. The results highlighted the efficiency of CMC’s emergency protocols and the strong cooperation among all parties involved. The areas identified for improvement were minimal and are already being addressed.
This exercise reaffirms CMC’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for its patients, visitors, and staff.
