WILLEMSTAD, November 21, 2024 – Last week, Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) marked its fifth anniversary, reflecting on its journey of resilience and dedication to the Curaçao community. The occasion honored both the remarkable achievements of the institution and the commitment of its staff, despite significant challenges faced over the years.
As part of the observance, two departments were recognized for their exceptional patient satisfaction scores, and fifteen outstanding colleagues were acknowledged for their dedication and impact. These individuals were nominated by department heads and managers and evaluated by an independent commission.
Outstanding Departmental Achievements
The Radiotherapy department achieved an impressive patient satisfaction score of 9.1, while the Cath lab excelled with a score of 9.4. Both departments were honored for their consistent excellence in patient care.
Recognition of Colleague Contributions
Fifteen colleagues were acknowledged for their exceptional contributions to CMC’s mission of providing care with love. Their selection was based on their dedication, professionalism, and ability to inspire others. An external committee reviewed the nominations to ensure fairness and neutrality.
