Willemstad, March 31, 2025 – Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) announces that Mr. Johan de Graaf will officially assume his role as CEO of CMC on April 1, 2025. This leadership transition marks an important step for the hospital and reinforces CMC’s commitment to excellence in healthcare.
To ensure continuity and a successful transition, outgoing CEO Gilbert Martina will be physically present until March 31. After this date, he will continue to be available remotely for consultation until June 30, 2025, providing support and guidance during the transition period. Johan de Graaf will immediately begin meeting with key stakeholders and will schedule time to connect with each department within CMC. His first month will be dedicated to getting to know the internal team and integrating into the organization’s culture.
CMC remains committed to addressing key challenges, including improving employee and patient experience, reducing waitlists, and continuously enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery.
